Mum, You Need To Take Risks Getting To The Top
April 18, 2009 by: Rebecca Cheng
Mum, I know you too well. But when was the last time you took a risk? Yet your desire to get to the top prevails.
You know what I mean, you play it safe simply because you need to get your family safely over that hump. You protect what you have but not try for more for fear of loss. But you die slowly everyday as inflation eats into your limited resources. Fear holds you back…
That was my life for years until one day, I decided to break out. I went on my journey of self discovery. Yes, my children were all important, but I knew deep down if I didn’t take the risk, me and my kids will be sunk.
Today, taking a walk out onto a ridge with a sheer drop of hundreds of feet was a ‘normal’ affair.
Tell me, what have you done for your self esteem today?
1) Have you taken a walk on the wild side today and try raise your fitness level?
2) Have you put into action to save on your grocery bill by using coupons and buying in bulk?
3) Did you go out to a business tips meeting this past week and find an idea for a small business mums can do?
4) Kids old enough? Have them do some work for summer! Builds character, keep out of trouble and help pay for their own stuff.
5) Meet more people and learn from teachers of self development and business building?
6) Better yet, have you started on a small business of your own? Remember, you can use your income and still get tax deductions…
Just remember, take a walk on the wild side and raise your game for ever greater rewards; the rewards you deserve.
