Enemies, Soldiers, People But Who Are You?

Soldiers witnessing the gory scenes of death, destruction, suffering, mangled bodies, starving children, strife and starvation of innocent people in the streets…

Is it any wonder from the last war, there have been at least 200 known military personnel gone AWOL? Officially, they are deserters. Morally, they can’t return to the war zone and cause any more hurt to their fellow human beings. So, what will you uphold? Human rights or a very one sided war they find are against innocent people.
There may have been a very vicious dictator once upon a time, but he’s gone. Wasn’t that what the war was about? Or is it a much bigger issue? We know there’s the control of oil. But the price of oil has fallen drastically, and there’s more oil than ever now. So, why are the soldiers still there? Why isn’t the pain of war stopping?
A mother feels for her children even if they have grown and have their own lives. How many mums cry silent tears of worry when their children are away fighting a war that is so wrapped in controversy and needless suffering. Then what happens when your precious children no longer come home?
