Danger to Our Empty Mind

What echoes are heard in an empty mind…

empty-oil-drum-like-the-empty-mindSometimes the magic shoe maker might come into your unguarded house and make you new shoes.

The chances that those three hungry bears might walk in to eat not only the food is also possible.

Leaving your mind empty is like leaving your house unlocked and unguarded. You never know who or what might enter.

And what did the Chinese used to say about empty vessels making all that noise?

If you have thoughts that are provoking you in the direction that is not productive, you can alter the situation by the choice you make.

You can direct your mind deliberately to think in certain productive and pro-active manner.

If you leave the mind wander by itself it can be progressive or destructive depending on the influence of others or the influence of your inner history of your own past thoughts, ideas, behavior, beliefs or understanding.

The Mind by itself does not choose to rest.  It is way more active than our body. Sometimes it is necessary to give the mind a rest.  Resting the mind is like giving a good rest or a good night sleep to your body.

When you consciously focus and pay attention to your mind it has to stop all its activities and quiet down and relax.

Try these simple exercises to eliminate your headache or the pressure you feel from stress.

1) Being Mindful of your thoughts is great way to keep the mind from rattling making you weary.

2) Relaxing the mind with pleasureable activity lets you gain more energy and a new perspective on the task you undertake to venture in.

3) Mother Nature has provided you with the healing ability using your body, spirit and also your mind – practice tai-chi, and eat good food.

4) It is dangerous to leave the mind unattended.  The Mind is like a child requires discipline and attention – take it for a reading exercise or  something fun like a good movie.

5) Once you discipline the mind, and not let the mind discipline you, you can reach for your dreams!
